Advantages

• Teak wood is soft to medium wood. The grain is straight, though it can occasionally be wavy or interlocked and most of the color is gold tone. 

• Secure from insects and termites, because there’s composition has some percentage of natural oils which repel all of them. 

• Conversely, depending on the age of timber or the percentage of sapwood on wood that built furniture.
   

Disadvantage

• Easy to scratch on wood surfaces.

• 0% of sapwood or lot of its lifetime is costly because it’s water, bugs/termite resistant, and minor- shrinkage. 

• Conversely, teak wood will minor shrinkage follow the weather, especially dry weather. And the sapwood is unresistant to pest or termite and water/humidity.
